Making a donation, raising funds, volunteering, helping us raise awareness …there are plenty of ways you can support us

There are lots of opportunities for you to support us or get involved. We are a charity and we couldn’t continue our valuable work without your help. If you are interested in getting involved, please check out the different options here.

What are the volunteering opportunities?

Would you like to support our work by becoming directly involved? We have specific roles at our community projects and events for which we require volunteers as well as positions in areas including marketing, fundraising and adminstration.

How can I make a donation?

No one should have to face a mental health problem alone. Your support means we can reach more people, answer more calls and continue speaking out for everyone with mental health issues. As a charity, we reply on your help to continue our work.

Your donation today could give someone hope and help them understand they're not alone.

I'd like to do some fundraising

Getting together with friends, family and neighbours or taking on a personal challenge is a great way to support us - and it feels good too. There are so many ways you can raise funds towards our work. The only limit on what you do is your imagination.

How can I help raise awareness about mental health?

Our new Open Minds project focuses on raising awareness about mental health and challenging the stigma that surrounds it. Many people with mental health problems are made to feel ashamed, worthless and isolated. We want others to see the whole person, not just a mental health problem and the first step is for people to talk and to listen.

Your views need to be at the heart of everything we do. You are the experts, through your experiences, and it's those experiences that can inform how we shape our services.

"I've been volunteering at the Forget Me Not group in Arundel for people with dementia for about 18 months. As I have an interest in history, I've run quizzes about history and music to stimulate and encourage reminiscing. It's never about competition - it's about having fun."
