Digital service design lead

22.5 hours per week

Full-time salary range: £30,603 – £32,643 (pro rata for PT hours)    

3 years funding – 2019 – 2022  

Are you an experienced and passionate individual with strong credentials in the area of digital service design looking for an exciting and rewarding new opportunity??

In this new role you will take responsibility for leading the planning and delivery of a range of digital service development and design projects actively involving customers throughout the process.  There will be lots of opportunity to take responsibility using your creativity and ideas to lead this work. You will be actively encouraged to share this work and the learning from it widely within relevant local and national networks.

The successful candidate will: 

  • need to be an experienced and confident service development, design and project manager with a really sound understanding of digital platforms and solutions and how these can support people with mental health problems to effectively manage their mental health
  • need to be able to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including people with mental health problems, staff and managers to lead service design projects 
  • need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate a high level of personal effectiveness and have sound team and partnership working skills.

We really welcome applications from individuals who have been working in a corporate or business setting and wish to make a sector change but some knowledge and experience of working in a relevant charity or mental health setting is desirable.  Please note this is not a digital marketing or communications role (although this experience may be relevant) and we are looking for someone with strong credentials in the area of service design.
