We have a vacancy for a mental health worker in our Worthing service

Coastal West Sussex Mind has a vacancy for a Mental Health Worker in its Worthing Pathfinder Service with people aged 18 and over

Salary: £21,118 for 37.5 hours per week

This is a 12month contract to cover for a staff secondment      

Coastal West Sussex Mind is a local mental health charity committed to promoting mental well-being in local communities and supporting the recovery and independence of individuals we provide support to. We are looking for a full-time Mental Health Worker to join our busy and exciting Worthing mental health service.

Successful applicants will provide recovery focused 1:1 and group support and learning opportunities as well as developing peer led support within services. 

As well as having some experience of working with people with mental health problems, post-holders will need to demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for recovery focused mental health work and show that they can be a strong team player with real commitment to their work.  They will also need to have initiative and be able to contribute to the direction and development of the service.  

Although we are seeking a full time worker we may also have opportunities for part time work.
