Peer support worker – Volunteer and peer mentor training
7.5 hours per week
£9 per hour
Have you trained and worked as a peer mentor or been involved in delivering peer training and would like to take up a paid staff role?
In this new role you will support the delivery of our peer volunteer and mentoring training. You will help with the delivery of regular workshops, providing support to students and also undertaking administrative tasks.
To apply you will need to have lived experience of having mental health problems and using mental health services and have undertaken peer mentor or alternatively learning & development training.
You will need to be able to show that you have good verbal and written communication skills, that you can work effectively in and with groups and also that you can use your own experience to support other people with mental health problems.
The closing date for applications is 10-00am on Wednesday 20th November 2019.
Interviews will be on the afternoon of 26th November 2019.
