Mental health training

Are you a professional, parent or carer looking for training courses in mental health?

We offer free or low cost training, either as e-learning or as face-to-face courses, to parents, carers and professionals working with young people across West Sussex.

So if you are worried about a child or young person and want to increase your knowledge and confidence in supporting them, you might like to book, for example, some training on: self-harm; emotional abuse; autism; stress; or anxiety.

"What was best was learning how to give young people the skills to control stress and manage situations." - Training course attendee

You can find all our current training courses on Eventbrite here.

We also run bespoke training in the private and public sector in-house for staff or volunteers. Please contact us via email: training@coastalwestsussexmind.org to discuss your needs.

All our training is designed to increase people's skills to help them support others with mental health issues. Some courses are offered in partnership with other agencies such as Grassroots Suicide Prevention and YMCA Downslink Group, Autism Sussex and Change Grow Live.
