Course summary

  • Three-hour workshop

Course content

Seven main areas to be covered:

  • what is a hoarding disorder?
  • the triggers which may lead someone to develop hoarding issues
  • how hoarders think and feel about their possessions
  • the impact of hoarding on someone’s life
  • examples of helpful conversations which enable and support someone to move forward
  • current therapeutic, planning approaches and multi-agency responses
  • local advice and therapeutic agencies.
