https://www.justgiving.com/coastalws-mindCoastal West Sussex Mind’s launch of its new support project for older people in Bognor led to lots of conversations about mental health.
Our Communities in Mind project offers support for people of 65 plus with depression, anxiety, other mental health problems or those feeling isolated.
At the event, at Age UK’s Laburnum Centre, several people stopped by to chat with service manager Jo Bulis and co-ordinator Julia Dendle and some booked one-to-one consultations.
It was also attended by Bognor Mayor Cllr Phil Woodall and Coastal West Sussex Mind chair Sally Lefroy. Cllr Woodwall launched the service and spoke about the importance of mental health support
Jo said: “We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Age UK and the centre manager Sarah Smith.”
